X files Promo!



Watching the promo my reaction was WHAT? For those of you who haven't seen it SPOILERS ARE COMING!

So we open with Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) as she receives a phone call from Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) to say he's here (did he have to phone, I mean she was right there). Then we're treated to mysterious clips, a plane with a freaky colour change, and cameras are everywhere. It seems as though the government is spying on everyone, they never learn do they?

Then we see the return of Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) who tells Mulder to do something about the danger he's found himself in. Is it just me or does it look like the FBI have put Skinner in the basement? If this is the case it may mean he is now head of the X-files, I know most of you are going to say they were destroyed but come on, they have been shut down before.

Also it seem that in true X-files fashion it seems Mulder is looking for the conspiracy and Scully is looking at things rationally. I enjoy this dynamic as they balance each other out, I know others don't and think Scully has seen too much to stay rational but her entire reason for being there is to bring the science to the conspiracy.

We then see a clip of what could be the big bad of the season, a bunch of soldiers and a man in a bowler hat out in some site. Although I think this could possibly be a flashback, maybe to area 51 or some other alien crash landing site. Then the reveal that made me gasp, The Smoking Man (William B. Davis) is back from the grave. 

Didn't he get blown up a while back? Wasn't he in a wheelchair with a oxygen tank when this happened? How could he survive? Even if he did survive wasn't he dying of cancer anyway? Oh maybe he's a clone!

I have so many questions, but I guess I'll just have to wait until January to find out. Check out the trailer below.

*****Amendment - I actually only seen the second part of the trailer this morning, when I searched in youtube I was given the trailer below. Looks like Skinner was in the basement but only because Mulder was there, he wasn't sent there by the FBI, damn I feel stupid!*****

So yeah I just finished watching Agents of Shield episode two. I was going to leave it until tomorrow morning but I found myself wanting to write about it.  I really enjoyed this episode guys and I am going to tell you why. SPOILERS ARE COMING! Now let's talk about Ward (Brett Dalton), I love hydra Ward best. If Grant has an evil purpose he is better for it, he might not have the girl, but he has a team. Ward is going to cleanse Hydra of all its money lovers. He will form Hydra 2.0, only in it for the destruction. Now that's the Ward we can all get behind, he might be the bad guy, but he's our bad guy. So the episode starts in 18th century England inside a creepy mansion with men in powdered wigs and such. They are technically drawing straws but with stones, the white stone goes in the Portal. Game of Thrones - Who Else Could Return From The Dead?

Spoilers ahead for episode seven of this sixth season, The Broken Man.  Last week I was so relieved to finally see the Gravedigger Theory  confirmed, us book fans had an idea that we hadn't quite seen the last of that loveable Hound, Sandor Clegane (Rory McCann), and it was nice to see him appear lugging a tree. Now we are faced with wondering who else could potentially rise from the dead before this sixth season is over. Stannis the Mannis Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) was apparently killed by Brienne at the end of last season, but the shot cut away before we saw his head being chopped off. If watching the show or reading the books has taught us anything it is to not believe someone is dead until we actually see it happen with our own two eyes. The Hound was in a similar position, we all thought he would die from bleeding out in the middle of nowhere but he had help in the form of Brother Ray (Ian McShane), who had stumbled upon him and saved him from dea...

Daredevil Season 2 Trailer

SPOILERS, as always for those who haven't watched season one.  So everyone's favorite Blind(ish) Superhero is back in a new trailer. Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is feeling guilty, maybe for the death of Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall) last season, maybe for something completely different. Father Lantom (Peter McRobbie) tells Matt that guilt can be a good, although Karen (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy (Elden Henson) also look plenty guilty in this teaser trailer. We then see a bunch of clips including Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) in her nurse scrubs, and Elektra (Elodie Yung) getting her mask on, all while hearing a voice over from Father Lantom who indicates that it may be because Matt's work as Daredevil is not yet finished. We then see Karen Page holding a Punisher skull on a x-ray and looking pretty freaked out by it.
