Big Bang Season 9 Episode 1 Review

SPOILERS BE COMING! The following is my review of the season nine premiere of the Big Bang Theory.

So in all the confusion with time zones I completely forgot to watch the premiere episode of the Big Bang Theory. I will say one thing before I go on, researching season nine in my previous post kinda ruined it for me. I read an interview with the Big Bang Showrunner Steve Molaro who revealed that Leonard and Penny do actually get married and I would have preferred it if I didn't know. There was no will they won't they scenario going on in my head and I really would have enjoyed it more if there was.

Anyway besides all that the episode was pretty much ok, not the best, not the worst. I understand there was a lot to do in twenty minutes. I enjoyed Sheldon's back and forth with Amy, not knowing if they had broken up, if they were getting back together was very well done. I always enjoy the chemistry both the actors have with one another and still hope to see more of it in the coming season.

Stuart was the funniest character in this episode and I found my only real laugh out loud moments were at his interactions with the rest of the cast. This may also be because I'd seen most of all the other funny moments in the trailer but I feel his character does give a breath of fresh air to the cast.

Leonards vows were really sweet, Penny's were even sweeter. I also enjoyed that even though the rest of the gang weren't there they still got to watch the wedding live through the internet. But we don't get to hear Penny's surname due to a cut back to the gang and Sheldon talking all over it. Seriously what is it? I NEED TO KNOW!

Anyway I found myself annoyed at Sheldon and Amy breaking it off, If you remember back to the season eight finale Amy wanted a break as she didn't know were her relationship with Sheldon was going. All he needs to do is show her the ring and we have our Shamy back. But this doesn't happen, Amy breaks it off for good.

I also enjoyed that Penny got so annoyed at Leonard after they got married, it's a normal reaction to hearing you've been cheated on and she does tend to ignore her feelings so at least she's getting them out. I would have liked her to have this reaction before and not have to wait until after the ceremony but still she did good.

We didn't see much of Raj in this episode which I was disappointed in as he is my favorite character. But all in all an ok start to the season. I am genuinely looking forward to next week's episode.

Game of Thrones - The Hall of Faces Trailer and Theories!

I've been watching out for this trailer for the past week and was pretty excited to see some footage from the new season. Instead we got to see the faces of characters, some of whom are long lost, and others who have yet to leave us. SPOILER WARNING for those who haven't caught up with season five. The trailer takes place in the Hall of Faces, which is inside the House of Black and White in Braavos. The hall looks great, creepy but great. We can hear some whispers which are too quiet for me to make out. Then Ned's (Sean Bean) face appears on screen, we then hear him say a line from the show's first ever episode called Winter is Coming.    "The Man who passes the sentence should swing the sword." The screen then fades to black and we then see a clip of some more rows of heads. We then hear even more whispers and which I think sounds like some drops of waters. We then hear the voice of Robb Stark (Richard Madden) who we hear give a quote from seaso...

Daredevil Season 2 Trailer

SPOILERS, as always for those who haven't watched season one.  So everyone's favorite Blind(ish) Superhero is back in a new trailer. Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is feeling guilty, maybe for the death of Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall) last season, maybe for something completely different. Father Lantom (Peter McRobbie) tells Matt that guilt can be a good, although Karen (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy (Elden Henson) also look plenty guilty in this teaser trailer. We then see a bunch of clips including Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) in her nurse scrubs, and Elektra (Elodie Yung) getting her mask on, all while hearing a voice over from Father Lantom who indicates that it may be because Matt's work as Daredevil is not yet finished. We then see Karen Page holding a Punisher skull on a x-ray and looking pretty freaked out by it. Then comes what I am most looking forward to, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) is here, in a hospital (watch out Claire) and looking pretty bad ass if I do...

Agents of Shield: Devils You Know

Better the devil you know, woooohoooo.. sorry I was channeling my Kylie Minogue there, apologies. Episode four of the third season was filled with it's usual twists and turns. Being a Marvel fanboy, well girl (is fangirl a thing?), I love everything those folks throw at me, even if it isn't the best I can't seem to take these damn goggles off. SPOILERS ARE COMING! Lets dive right in shall we? Ok so the episode starts with a couple cooking dinner, the woman asks about chicken (tell me about it, cooking the stuff does my head in) and the next thing we know there is a knock at the door. In comes Alisha (Alicia Vela-Bailey), you remember her as she has similar abilities to that of Multiple Man from the X-Men's worst film and the comics. We find out this couple are pre fish oil inhumans, and Alisha warns them of a danger facing all inhumans. The couple tell her of an email they received and then comes in the big bad, Lash (Matthew Willig) and he murders all three of the...
