Once Upon A Time: Birth and The Bear King

[Courtesy of ABC/Disney] So, this week we were treated to not one, but two episodes of Once Upon A Time. Both of these episodes were not linked in anyway though, which I was a bit disappointed in, but still we got to see two great episodes so what more can we ask for? I have taken my top five moments from the first episode, Birth and my top four moments from The Bear King.  SPOILER warning for those who aren’t caught up. Birth: This one was definitely my favourite of the two as it was nice to get some answers about Camelot, everything seemed to tie up quite nicely and it had me looking forward to more. I really liked the ending and it has sort of confirmed what I believed all along, she really isn't t...

Agents of Shield: Among Us Hide...

[Courtesy of Marvel/abc] So I don't quite know how to start this one besides to warn you all about about SPOILERS! I think I will give a short overview and give my thoughts like I usually do but if you'd instead like a top moments list then please comment below. So the episode starts with a pissed off May (Ming-Na Wen) as she heads back to base to find out from Coulson (Clark Gregg) that Andrew (Blair Underwood) has being rolled into the medical facility. Turns out he is alive, and May is hell bent on making Ward pay. They both question Andrew, asking him what happened, his story is that a SHIELD agent, who Coulson had tailing him, saved his life and as he hid the place went up and he was thrown from the site. Now if you read my previous Agents of Shield recaps then you may know a ...

Where have I been?

So I took a four days off to rest and relax. My partner is still at home due to a work injury and between looking after him for the past few weeks and also spending hours researching and writing this blog, it was all wearing me out. So after a few days I feel much more relaxed so I am ready to begin. Below is a quick catch up on The Walking Dead and Once Upon A Time.  BEWARE OF SPOILERS! Once Upon A Time - The Bear and The Bow                                                                           ( Courtesy of Ed Araquel / ABC) The Bear and the Bow was a pretty well executed episode, it focuses mostly on Belle which I really enjoyed as she is one of my favorites in this series and in Disney lore. So flashback to Camelot, Merlin (Elliot Knight), David (Josh Dallas), Hook (Colin O'Donoghu...

Once Upon A Time: The Broken Kingdom Review

This is my review on Season Five Episode Four of Once Upon A Time. So if you aren't up to date then please click away now as SPOILERS ARE COMING! You've been warned. So this episode begins with a young Arthur and Guinevere in very different looking Camelot. He takes her to the tree in which Merlin is trapped, gives her a pale pink flower and then tells her of Merlin's prophecy that one day he will rule all of Camelot and take the sword from the stone. Camelot will be whole once more, she sees a sword in some stones and asks Arthur if this is the sword. He replies no, and just at that moment some bigger kids appear to mock Arthur who tell him he's gone crazy after his mother died. Camelot is called the broken kingdom for a reason, there will be no king. It jumps forward in time to when Arthur (Liam Garrigan) actually pulled the sword from the stone, and again it is revealed that the sword is not finished as part of it is the dark ones dagger. When he reveals the s...

Once Upon A Time Season 5 Episode 3 Review

SPOILERS for those who aren't up to date! So the episode began with Emma/The Dark One (Jennifer Morrison) stealing an axe from poor Happy, this enrages the Dwarves who go have a chat with David, telling him to be the sheriff and not let the dark one get away with anything. Can I just say Josh Dallas did a superb job this episode, he's been in the background for the first few episodes and it was a refreshing change to see David go on two adventures. So back in Camelot Emma asks if she should just do magic and get Merlin out his tree but again everyone tells her no, that it's too unsafe (wasn't unsafe when Robin was dying last episode though). I almost feel bad for Emma. When Arthur (Liam Garrigan) appears in the room Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) has an epiphany and states that the easiest way to figure out how to free Merlin would be to ask him himself. Regina (Lana Parrilla) then finds the Crimson Crown in one of Merlin's old spell books, this is the it...

Once Upon A Time Season 5 episode 2

So episode two opens with a statue Sneezy being carried on top of a van heading for the towns line, I'm going to say that SPOILERS ARE coming, so scram if you haven't seen this yet! So due to recent events, Leroy/Grumpy (Lee Arenberg) and the rest of the dwarves are dead set on crossing the line. Remember once you cross you can't return. Unless, I dunno, true love? So then the gang shows up and try to talk them out of it. Leroy then bullies Dopey (Jeffrey Kaiser) into crossing and then he turns into groot I guess? A tree, but wait he doesn't talk? We then are treated to a flashback, back six weeks to Camelot. King Arthur (Liam Garrigan) tells the villains/hero combo that tonight there shall be a ball in there honour as they have been waiting for there arrival for ten years. He then introduces us to his wife Guinevere (Joana Metrass) and her dress is gorge. During the introductions there is a great back and forth between Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Zelena (Reb...
