Once Upon A Time: The Broken Kingdom Review

This is my review on Season Five Episode Four of Once Upon A Time. So if you aren't up to date then please click away now as SPOILERS ARE COMING! You've been warned. So this episode begins with a young Arthur and Guinevere in very different looking Camelot. He takes her to the tree in which Merlin is trapped, gives her a pale pink flower and then tells her of Merlin's prophecy that one day he will rule all of Camelot and take the sword from the stone. Camelot will be whole once more, she sees a sword in some stones and asks Arthur if this is the sword. He replies no, and just at that moment some bigger kids appear to mock Arthur who tell him he's gone crazy after his mother died. Camelot is called the broken kingdom for a reason, there will be no king. It jumps forward in time to when Arthur (Liam Garrigan) actually pulled the sword from the stone, and again it is revealed that the sword is not finished as part of it is the dark ones dagger. When he reveals the s...

Once Upon A Time Season 5 Episode 1

This episode was just so great throughout, with all it's twists and turns. I'd give it five stars. I'm now going to be talking about specifics so SPOILERS ARE COMING! Don't say I didn't warn you. So the episode starts in Minneapolis in 1989, Emma and other foster kids are in a cinema watching The Sword and The Stone. She seems to be jealous of kids with sweets and steals some chocolate for herself. Then an usher appears from nowhere and tells Emma not to do it, she must not remove excalibre and then he vanishes in a puff of smoke. We are then taken to the Enchanted Forest where Arthur, Lancelot (remember season 2, Cora apparently killed him ages ago and pretended to be him so does this mean he's really alive?) and a bunch of the other Knights of the round table are on trying to find excalibre. They find it but someone else has gotten there first. A Knight tries to take the sword for himself but was deemed not worthy so he turns to dust. Arthur (Li...

So whats happening with Jon?

So Jon is one of my favorite characters in both the show (Game of Thrones) and the book (A Song of Ice and Fire). I think mostly as from the beginning he is the underdog, the unwanted, the bas.. can I say that? Those of you who have not read the end of A Dance with Dragons or watched the season 5 finale of Game of Throne be warned as SPOILERS ARE COMING!  So where we leave off our Lord Commander Jon has been stabbed multiple times by his own brothers of the Nightwatch (seriously dudes not cool). Lying in a pool of blood, his last words are Ghost (not Olly) leading many fans to speculate (including myself) that he has warged into his direwolf who is currently trying to break free after Jon locked him up. Now this theory is pretty solid as A Dance of Dragons starts with Varamyr Sixskins, a warg who is dying due to wounds at the wall so he transport's his consciousness into his companion Thistle but she manages to regain control so as he dies he awakens in the body of his wolf. ...

The Dark Swan

"Remember who you are Emma Swan!" There is no returning fall show I am more excited for than Once Upon A Time. Yes, I admit it! I love a good fairytale and nothing gets my juices flowing more than a great story set in a fairytale world. For those of you who haven't watched the season 4 finale  SPOILERS ARE COMING  so be warned and click away now. When we left off in Storybrooke at the end of Season 4 The Apprentice was attempting to absorb Mr Gold's dark magic by trapping it in the infamous Sorcerer's hat in an attempt to save Rumple's life. I think he was doing this for Belle as I never understood why he would help Gold when he kinda dislikes the guy. This goes south as the hat cannot hold that much dark magic and it escapes out into the centre of Storybrooke. Left with no choice Emma Swan our archetypal Lawful Good character or Saviour fuses herself with the dark magic in an attempt to save the town and her loved ones from ultimate destruction. After ...
