SPOILERS for those who aren't up to date! So the episode began with Emma/The Dark One (Jennifer Morrison) stealing an axe from poor Happy, this enrages the Dwarves who go have a chat with David, telling him to be the sheriff and not let the dark one get away with anything. Can I just say Josh Dallas did a superb job this episode, he's been in the background for the first few episodes and it was a refreshing change to see David go on two adventures. So back in Camelot Emma asks if she should just do magic and get Merlin out his tree but again everyone tells her no, that it's too unsafe (wasn't unsafe when Robin was dying last episode though). I almost feel bad for Emma. When Arthur (Liam Garrigan) appears in the room Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) has an epiphany and states that the easiest way to figure out how to free Merlin would be to ask him himself.
