I awoken today with a ton of notifications all surrounding the first day of San Diego Comic Con (I know Wednesday is technically Day 1 but Thursday is the first proper day) that I thought I'd do a daily recap on the con, instead of one giant con related post. I'd like to also note that I am not at comic con and am solely going on hearsay surrounding the panels as they are not available to stream this year. So strap in and let's talk about some of the highlights from yesterday. Luke Cage The Luke Cage panel sounds as if it was very exciting, a surprise visit for the Punisher himself, and a ton of shiny new trailers. The entire cast was announced: Mike Colter of course is playing Luke Cage, Mahershala Ali is playing Cottonmouth who is described as a Godfather like villain, Alfre Woodard is playing local politician Mariah Dillard, Simone Missick is playing police detective Misty Knight, Theo Rossi plays Shades Alvarez, Frank Whaley plays Misty's partner Rafae...

So yeah I just finished watching Agents of Shield episode two. I was going to leave it until tomorrow morning but I found myself wanting to write about it.  I really enjoyed this episode guys and I am going to tell you why. SPOILERS ARE COMING! Now let's talk about Ward (Brett Dalton), I love hydra Ward best. If Grant has an evil purpose he is better for it, he might not have the girl, but he has a team. Ward is going to cleanse Hydra of all its money lovers. He will form Hydra 2.0, only in it for the destruction. Now that's the Ward we can all get behind, he might be the bad guy, but he's our bad guy. So the episode starts in 18th century England inside a creepy mansion with men in powdered wigs and such. They are technically drawing straws but with stones, the white stone goes in the Portal. I would have had this out earlier but I spent the full morning applying for jobs, seriously I did even brush my hair after I showered and now it's a half mop of curls/frizz. She basically takes on the role of her mother (besides the crazy) in the previous season by trying to help him through the process. So the season three trailer just posted yesterday and it looks like Skye is pretty comfortable now with her real name. For those of you who haven't seen the season 2 finale SPOILERS ARE COMING! So be warned. At the end of season two we saw Simmons being sucked up into the mysterious Kree rock she was running tests on moments after finally admitting her true feelings for the lovable Fitz (it was beautiful). This act by the Kree Rock confirms that Simmons our badass scientist has inhuman DNA, and will hopefully be getting some kick ass super power. Coulson and Skye's plan to sink the terrigen crystals which give inhumans there powers into the sea backfires when yes you guessed it the fish get infected and all go into lovely fish oil pills confirming my stance on daily multivitamins being bad for you, seriously do you want to take the chance that you might turn into a lovely piece of rock?
