San Diego Comic Con - Day 2

We had an action packed day yesterday, Game of Thrones panel, Walking Dead panel, Agents of Shield and plenty more. I am going to go through the top things we learned yesterday, some highlights, some Hodor, and some great trailers. The Walking Dead We may be no closer to finding out which cast member bore the brunt of Lucille, but we did learn a few things from this panel. The gang will come across some new survivors, now some of these people are friendly, others are not so friendly, but we will see leaders with different styles than what we might be used to. Rick is in a particularly bad place, so much so that Andrew Lincoln's own Mother has been giving him acting tips on how to get back to the emotional state he was in during the last season. It's good to know that however serious the scene that these actors all have a good time pranking each other on set, the pranks seem to involve a lot of glitter, and the odd chicken. Jeffrey Dean Morgan seems to be enjoyin...

San Diego Comic Con - Day 1

I awoken today with a ton of notifications all surrounding the first day of San Diego Comic Con (I know Wednesday is technically Day 1 but Thursday is the first proper day) that I thought I'd do a daily recap on the con, instead of one giant con related post. I'd like to also note that I am not at comic con and am solely going on hearsay surrounding the panels as they are not available to stream this year. Luke Cage The Luke Cage panel sounds as if it was very exciting, a surprise visit for the Punisher himself, and a ton of shiny new trailers. The entire cast was announced: Mike Colter of course is playing Luke Cage, Mahershala Ali is playing Cottonmouth who is described as a Godfather like villain, Alfre Woodard is playing local politician Mariah Dillard, Simone Missick is playing police detective Misty Knight, Theo Rossi plays Shades Alvarez, Frank Whaley plays Misty's partner Rafae...

Scotlands Comic Con 2015

So on Sunday I got to go to my first ever Comic Con. I had no idea what to expect, and I never expected to see half the stuff I did. Can I just say ladies, we DO NOT need to dress like we're trolling the street corner, but more power to you all for having the confidence to walk around like that. I would have probably been way too self conscious to pull costumes like that off. I've always wanted to dress as Wonder Woman for Halloween but I always choose something else at the last minute as I get way too scared. So firstly I felt old, so bloody well old. Like you have no idea. I also felt very underdressed as I was wearing jeans which were three times too big, a t-shirt which was also too big and you guessed it a checkered shirt which was too big. I wasn't there to look good, I was there to be comfy, and damn it I was! Yes 1/4 of the crowd was dressed just like me but if I had more warning (got tickets a few days beforehand) I probably would have dressed up. No...
