Agents of Shield Season 3 Ep 1 Clip

So Agents of Shield released the first five minutes of the first episode last night, SPOILERS ARE COMING!

In the clip we see the bad effects fish oil can have on you, OK fish oil infected with terrigen crystals. An unsuspecting human has turned to dust, the apartment looks as though a bomb has gone off in it (ok a small bomb), we see a bike with melted tyres below a railing which has melted off. We then meet Joey (Juan Pablo Raba), explosions are going off all around him, he also melts a whole bunch of stuff throughout this clip including a lamp post, and scaffolding.

Joey is then met by a team of government soldiers who are trying to contain him by any means necessary. Poor Joey is just trying to get to the hospital and has no idea whats wrong with him. After melting some more stuff Joey runs and hides in an alley. After being discovered we then see a quake of trash cans (see what I did there). The government agents then go flying along with a police car and Daisy/Skye appears in a new Quake outfit.

She's not alone Mac and Hunter are with her and they extract Joey from the scene with some crazy escape pod box thing. I want one of these, just to fly about in it. The pod then links with the new shiny bus, seriously this bus looks way better than the old one and much bigger too.

Then we see who is behind the government's Advanced Threat Containment Unit, and her name is Rosalind Price (Constance Zimmer) who Coulson (did anyone notice his new hand?) snaps a quick pic of.

I think it looks great but I've always enjoyed Agents of Shield and I feel it gets a LOT of undeserving hate. It looks like the show will be focusing on the Secret Warriors comic book this season, so it will definitely be one to watch. Seriously go binge watch where you quit comic book fans, it will all be worth it.

Game of Thrones - The Hall of Faces Trailer and Theories!

I've been watching out for this trailer for the past week and was pretty excited to see some footage from the new season. Instead we got to see the faces of characters, some of whom are long lost, and others who have yet to leave us. SPOILER WARNING for those who haven't caught up with season five. The trailer takes place in the Hall of Faces, which is inside the House of Black and White in Braavos. The hall looks great, creepy but great. We can hear some whispers which are too quiet for me to make out. Then Ned's (Sean Bean) face appears on screen, we then hear him say a line from the show's first ever episode called Winter is Coming. "The Man who passes the sentence should swing the sword." The screen then fades to black and we then see a clip of some more rows of heads. We then hear even more whispers and which I think sounds like some drops of waters. Mental Illness in TV and Film - Dementors

Image Source Dementors have haunted me ever since I read The Prisoner of Azkaban way back in 1999. I was a Pre-Teen who was pretty much unaware of the depression that was just around the corner, in a way this book prepared me for what was to come, and after multiple reads, it became my go-to reference when explaining my depression. First off let's give a brief outline of Dementors, these magical wraith-like creatures can generally be found guarding Azkaban Prison, sucking the happiness, hope, and peace out of everyone around them. If you have had a horrible life marked by loss and abuse (just like Harry) you are much more affected by them than someone who has not, as they also cause depression and despair in there victims. Mockingjay Part 2 Teaser

So in a similar vein to Sony releasing a Bond teaser to get our juices flowing for release, Lionsgate release their own Mockingjay Part Two clip. SPOILERS AND THEORIES ARE COMING! I haven't read the books but I have a few theories after watching this clip. I may be 100% wrong though, no guarantees. So in the trailer our Mockingjay Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), is greeted by our newlywed Finnick (Sam Claflin). She comments at how short his honeymoon was and he replies stating that he'll,"be having one in the capital, after they take it." Well if this doesn't scream I'm going to die in this fight then I do not know what does. We are then greeted by Boggs (Mahershala Ali), he is commanding the non combat unit, they will be days behind the first unit and that Lt Jackson (Michelle Forbes) is his second in command. Cressida (Natalie Dorma) tells us the team are going to be the Star Squad and that Katniss is at her most effective when she is seen by the masses.
