What I Missed This Week (16th-24th October)

For those of you who don't know this is my weekly segment where I list everything I have missed this week and comment on what I thought about said news, movies or programmes. This is just a quick overview as I have severely hurt my shoulder while moving furniture yesterday. Don't laugh, it's an old gamer injury! So apologies if I miss anything and  SPOILER WARNINGS FOR SOME STUFF! BE WARNED! The Walking Dead So the second episode of the fifth season aired in the UK on Monday Night and it was ignored by me on Tuesday for the Star Wars Trailer. Sorry guys, I did get this episode spoiled for me by the Walking Dead's Instagram, seriously don't post anything until it's aired elsewhere, but it was mostly my fault for being on social media when I should have knew better. So what did I think about the second episode? I liked that it involved the "B" team and them only. I think more was at stake as we feel these characters can't actually han

Spectre Final Trailer

So the finale Spectre trailer was just released. Literally just dropped and I'm so excited, let me watch it. See I haven't even watched it yet! I've got an itchy trigger finger! Been sitting here for about thirty minutes waiting to watch it, let's hope it's worth it! Well that was short but action packed. It's a month away so Sony must have been trying to get our juices flowing and flow they did! We see our bond (Daniel Craig) on his own grand adventure to uncover the Spectre organisation after receiving a cryptic message from his past. Hmm strange. During the trailer he comes face to face with Franz Oberhauser (Christoph Waltz) and they both face off against each other. There is also a cool helicopter corkscrew, which looks so bad ass. Will Bond get answers? Will he kill everyone in the Spectre organisation? Well of course he will, maybe not everyone though, but enough for our current Bond to go retire on a desert island somewhere with Martinis and

Spectre

Now I was going to make this Fall Movies Part 3 but as I had so much to talk about I decided it deserved its own post. So as a Brit James Bond is in our DNA, we all have a favourite (Connory of course) and we love nothing more than to see the worlds most famous spy (sorry Ethan Hunt, side bar how good would a MI Bond cross over be) take on the latest big bad. Now I refused for months to watch Skyfall and after much badgering I eventually gave in, I'm grateful for those who badgered me into it because it is such a great movie. Since seeing Skyfall I have been so pumped for Spectre and the trailer does not disappoint. Bond jokes about taking some overdue holiday while really on a mission of his own in Mexico city, shiny gadgets are shown and Bond wants to disappear. We find out Bond links all of Spectre together, and Christoph Waltz plays the organisations chilling head while Dave Batista looks like its muscle. This looks on par with Skyfall and also very violent. With helic
