I awoken today with a ton of notifications all surrounding the first day of San Diego Comic Con (I know Wednesday is technically Day 1 but Thursday is the first proper day) that I thought I'd do a daily recap on the con, instead of one giant con related post. I'd like to also note that I am not at comic con and am solely going on hearsay surrounding the panels as they are not available to stream this year. So strap in and let's talk about some of the highlights from yesterday. Luke Cage The Luke Cage panel sounds as if it was very exciting, a surprise visit for the Punisher himself, and a ton of shiny new trailers. The entire cast was announced: Mike Colter of course is playing Luke Cage, Mahershala Ali is playing Cottonmouth who is described as a Godfather like villain, Alfre Woodard is playing local politician Mariah Dillard, Simone Missick is playing police detective Misty Knight, Theo Rossi plays Shades Alvarez, Frank Whaley plays Misty's partner Rafae...

Hopefully by now most of you will be sitting down to watch the second season of Daredevil, I on the other hand have to wait on a certain person getting home from his job before I can start watching. So in order to fill my time and maybe fill in some of the blanks you have, I decided to do a recap of season one. A season one SPOILER WARNING is in affect so if you haven't watched it then please do go back and take a look at it. In April 10th 2015 we got something spectacular, most of us didn't want to see Daredevil on any screen thanks to that movie we got back in 2003. I myself was talked into watching the series but I went into it on a clean slate and had zero expectations. Boy was I wrong. Episode 1: Into the Ring In a flashback we see a young Matt Murdock (Skylar Gaertner) saving a man from a car accident, it all goes south though when a batch of chemicals spill and they blind him. Daredevil Part Two Trailer Dropped around an hour ago (yes this took me three hours) and I just cannot wait for the 18th of March. Part One was most Daredevil vs Punisher, Part Two delves more into the Hand as well as Matt's relationship with Elektra. I enjoyed the first part of this trailer more but I am still excited for it's release. In this trailer Elektra (Elodie Yung) is on Matt Murdocks (Charlie Cox) couch, and asks him if he would believe it if she said that she missed him, to which he responds with a no. Elektra asks for Matt's help, he is the only person she can trust. Matt replies that if she wanted to talk about trust she shouldn't have broken into his house. Turns out she needs someone to help her fight, and Matt fights better than anyone she knows. We then see Daredevil taking out a hallway of mercenaries, Elektra then runs her finger around her glass, we hear than she has some information, but Matt does not believe her. We see clips of men tying wh...

SPOILERS, as always for those who haven't watched season one.  So everyone's favorite Blind(ish) Superhero is back in a new trailer. Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is feeling guilty, maybe for the death of Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall) last season, maybe for something completely different. Father Lantom (Peter McRobbie) tells Matt that guilt can be a good, although Karen (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy (Elden Henson) also look plenty guilty in this teaser trailer. We then see a bunch of clips including Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) in her nurse scrubs, and Elektra (Elodie Yung) getting her mask on, all while hearing a voice over from Father Lantom who indicates that it may be because Matt's work as Daredevil is not yet finished. We then see Karen Page holding a Punisher skull on a x-ray and looking pretty freaked out by it.
