DC Television!

[Courtesy of Warner Bros/DC Comics] So it's no secret that I am a huge fan of all things Marvel, but what about DC? When it comes to television, DC has some great shows. But my absolute favourite has got to be The Flash. Now I hear you all saying what about Arrow, or Gotham? But they are a bit too dark for my own taste. I enjoy my Superheroes with just a little cheese factor, as a constant serious tone will eventually put me off. So I just recently discovered the Flash and managed to binge watch the hell out of the first season. I actually cannot believe that Grant Gustin will not be playing the Flash on the big screen. I don't think I'd be interested in watching The Flash Movie as it will just be a rehashing of what we have right now, which I'm not interested in watching. So what is so good about this show? It's funny, lighthearted, yet it can be serious. There are great twists and turns for everyone and also some great easter eggs for those that know wha...

What I Missed (9-16th Oct)

What have I missed this week? I've missed quite a bit of movie news and TV shows so this is where all my opinions go for that which I have missed out on. SPOILERS ARE COMING! Fantastic Four Going Back to Marvel? Plenty of websites are commenting on the rumour that Marvel have got the rights back from Fox for the Fantastic Four franchise. I have no idea if this is true or not but the rumour is that as Marvel has been working with Fox on a new X-Men TV show (will go into more detail later in this thread), as Fox had the movie rights to this franchise a deal/swap took place. Den of Geek was the first site to report this rumour, I don't know if I am 100% sold on this, and I'm not sure it would be the best way to go for Marvel. Can Fantastic Four really be done? I don't think so, I say give it a TV show, let's get some more character development, look what it did for Daredevil. But I could be wrong, Marvel could get this franchise, make a movie and turn it into ...

What I Missed

I try so much guys, but sometimes things slip between the cracks or that dreaded life I have gets in the way. So sometimes I miss stuff, or would like to talk about certain items but life gets in the way. I live in the UK so most of the new trailers drop when I'm asleep or taking a night away to watch something I'm not blogging about. So here are some quick recaps of what I've missed, what I'm watching, and idea's that I've had which haven't worked out as I've been too busy. GOTHAM I've not watched this at all yet so I can't even comment on it. The reason I haven't watched it is my other half, who got me into watching it in the first place (we've all been there), has decided not to watch this anymore. I know he will eventually want to go back to it as he's a binge watcher and hates waiting week to week for episodes. Blame Netflix. So I'd like to watch it but eventually know in a few weeks I'll have to watch it all o...

Gotham Season 2 Episode 2

SPOILER WARNING!!!! So our episode opens with Theo Galavan (James Frain) who has the mayors head in a box, he gives him two choices, tarantula eats his face off or he phones his assistant and tells her he's running away with his lover. The mayor quite rightly chooses the second option, much to my happiness as even typing the word tarantula gives me the shivers. We find out that Theo is on a mission to cleanse the city of it's corruption, by killing all those who are corrupt. Maybe he sees himself as the Frank Castle of Gotham but I doubt this guy is the hero type. We then cut to the Gotham Chronicle to a newspaper editor is in a bad mood and is looking for a story, unbeknownst to him people seems to be flying by the window. We then go to the roof where our Maniax, Jerome Valeska (Cameron Monaghan), Aaron Helzinger (Stink Fisher), Arnold Dobkins (Will Brill), and Robert Greenwood ( Dustin Ybarra) are throwing these people off the roof in order to spell Maniax! Yes they ...

Gotham Season 2 Episode 1 Review

SPOILERS ARE COMING! YEH BE WARNED! So I took so many notes last night while watching the first episode of season two, most of it is gibberish but I will do my best to give a clear concise account of episode one. Here is my huge overview of what happened, seriously a lot happened in this episode. Then I will tell you all my favourite things about the series so far. If you'd like to skip this overview my view on the episode starts under the pic of Tigress. So season one ended with young Bruce and Albert discovering that Thomas Wayne's office was not all that it seemed, episode one starts with Bruce and Albert journeying behind the fireplace only to find a door and a keypad. What could the code be? We jump forward a month to find Penguin running Gotham, Gordon is currently walking the beat in uniform and he is still with Lee (who I am beating will appear to be something other than what she seems) and the Joker or Jerome as we currently know him is in Arkham Asylum. A...
