My Top 10 Scary Movies! (John too)

Ok I would like to admit these aren't just my top ten scary movies there a combination of my own and my other halves which is why I put John too in the title. We had three that were the same, so there is our top three and a bunch which we argued about. So in preparation for the spookiest night of the year I thought now would be a good time to talk horror. Are you ready? I'm not! I am trying not to give away too much for those who may not have seen those classic movies, but just incase your offended by my vague synopsis then I will issue a SPOILER WARNING! 10. The Thing                                                                                                             [ Courtesy Universal Pictures] The ...

My Top Five Moments from The Walking Dead

So with the most recent tragedy still on our minds I wonder, what is the five best moments of the walking dead? So many great moments happen in this show but I am going to list my favourite moments. SPOILERS ARE COMING for those that may not be caught up with the series so you have been warned. So what's my top five moments? To answer this I had to use a lot of brainpower and do a ton of research. So don't be sad if I missed a few, put your best moments in the comments. 5. Amy's Death Ok, Amy (Emma Bell) was Andrea's (Laurie Holden) sister, remember they lived in a camper van together and they had lost their dad during the month long Rick (Andrew Lincoln) coma. Amy gets killed in the first season when a herd of walkers come and infiltrate the first camp that the gang is staying at. Ahhh do you remember now? I blame Glenn (Steven Yeun) for this tragedy as that day he drove a blaring Dodge Challenger back to the camp, way to alert every zombie in the place of...

This Week's Trailers

This was a weird week for trailers. I dunno about you but I never noticed much, Star Wars took up too much of my attention. So I dropped the ball! This weeks had some great trailers, so this post won't include Star Wars as I have already covered it in another post, which if you haven't read you can check it out at the end of this post! Joy You can't always get what you want! This trailer looks like I would really enjoy this movie, which is directed by David O.Russell. The cast look great with Jennifer Lawrence taking on the role of Joy, a housewife with big dreams. She states that, " The world doesn't owe you a thing," and is hell bent on making it. Robert De Niro plays Joys father, Rudy, who is divorced and very brass, stating at a point that it was his  "fault that I gave her the confidence to think that she was more than just an unemployed housewife." Bradley Cooper is also in this movie playing what looks like a television producer which...

What I Missed This Week (16th-24th October)

For those of you who don't know this is my weekly segment where I list everything I have missed this week and comment on what I thought about said news, movies or programmes. This is just a quick overview as I have severely hurt my shoulder while moving furniture yesterday. Don't laugh, it's an old gamer injury! So apologies if I miss anything and  SPOILER WARNINGS FOR SOME STUFF! BE WARNED! The Walking Dead So the second episode of the fifth season aired in the UK on Monday Night and it was ignored by me on Tuesday for the Star Wars Trailer. Sorry guys, I did get this episode spoiled for me by the Walking Dead's Instagram, seriously don't post anything until it's aired elsewhere, but it was mostly my fault for being on social media when I should have knew better. So what did I think about the second episode? I liked that it involved the "B" team and them only. I think more was at stake as we feel these characters can't actually han...

Agents of Shield: Devils You Know

Better the devil you know, woooohoooo.. sorry I was channeling my Kylie Minogue there, apologies. Episode four of the third season was filled with it's usual twists and turns. Being a Marvel fanboy, well girl (is fangirl a thing?), I love everything those folks throw at me, even if it isn't the best I can't seem to take these damn goggles off. SPOILERS ARE COMING! Lets dive right in shall we? Ok so the episode starts with a couple cooking dinner, the woman asks about chicken (tell me about it, cooking the stuff does my head in) and the next thing we know there is a knock at the door. In comes Alisha (Alicia Vela-Bailey), you remember her as she has similar abilities to that of Multiple Man from the X-Men's worst film and the comics. We find out this couple are pre fish oil inhumans, and Alisha warns them of a danger facing all inhumans. The couple tell her of an email they received and then comes in the big bad, Lash (Matthew Willig) and he murders all three of the...

What Back to the Future Two got right and eh wrong.

We all love the Back to the Future movies right? From its kick ass soundtrack to its loveable, yet relatable characters. I love all the movies, I even love the third movie, don't all harp on at me at once. This movie was out when I was four and it holds a very special place in my heart. So when Marty uses the Delorean to go into the future (to today's actual date in fact 21/10/15), what did the movie get right or wrong? Fashion Ok maybe we don't actually have these trainers yet, hurry up Nike, you announced these four years ago! Want to maybe hurry them up a little? I will keep poking at you with a big stick! But we do in fact have trainers which look freakingly similar, that's right, Kanye Wests Yeezy boost trainers made by Adidas, do you think they just stole the idea? They may not light up and we may not have the self lacing technology of a 1989 movie but it's a start. I'm still waiting NIKE! Does this jacket look eerily familiar? Maybe add a s...

The Force Awakens YouTube Video

My Star Wars The Force Awakens Theory. Sorry for the voice, been pretty naisly since I started this channel. House problems are causing it, it's a big thing at the moment anyway check it out. Next I am going to do a blog post on what Back to the Future got right and wrong.

Star Wars The Force Awakens Trailer and Poster Review

So this trailer hit the US screens last night, for us in the rest of the world we had to time it so we'd be awake or just wait to the next morning. I tried the first but by half two I gave up and I'm glad I did because I would have had to wait a full hour until it was posted on YouTube. I was knackered. So I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's first talk about everything I like or dislike about the poster which was released on Sunday. SPOILERS, AS I WILL BE ANALYSING FOOTAGE. I will probably be way off but just incase. What I liked: 1. The women in this poster are my favourite part, yes I am bias! Rey (Daisy Ridley) was front and centre of this poster looking pretty bad ass might I add. Leia (Carrie Fisher) is looking great, even if she is somewhat obscured by Han's (Harrison Fords) face. Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) is also looking great clad in armour. Maz (Lupita Nyong'o) the little alien next to R2, looks interesting. All in all good to see thi...
