Game of Thrones Season 6 Teaser

So for those of you living under a rock, Game of Thrones launched it's official season six trailer last night. For those of you not caught up with Bran's chapters in the books, or with Season 5 of the show then be warned, SPOILERS ARE COMING

The trailer starts with a look at Jon Snow (Kit Harington), don't rejoice this is a flashback to Hardhome last season. The voice of Bloodraven (Max von Sydow) or Brynden Rivers depending on which name you prefer to call him, plays over these clips.

"We watch, we listen and we remember. The past is already written, the ink is dry."

                                                                         [Game of Thrones/HBO]

We see Jon being stabbed by Olly (Brenock O'Connor), Ned (Sean Bean) losing his head as Arya (Maisie Williams) looks on, Catelyn (Michelle Fairley) getting her throat slit at the Red Wedding. Arya then loses her sight, A wildling (which I can't yet identify) swinging his sword at an other, Ned's sword Ice being smelted and Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) turning Purple at the Purple wedding.

More clips appear, Rob (Richard Madden) being stabbed at the red wedding, Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) losing his hand, a crow, Dany (Emilia Clarke) and Drogon, We then see a clip of the Harpy being pulled off the top of the Pyramid in Meereen, The Night's King changing Baby Craster into a White Walker. Jojen (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) lying dead, an other running from a fireball (which I believe was thrown by Leaf), and the others breaking in at Hardhome.

We then see a clip of Cersei (Lena Headey) as she is about to do her walk of shame, Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) kiss, the sword which I think is Ice (could be oathkeeper) appears again, and the Night's King raising the dead.

                                                                      [Game of Thrones/HBO]

Then we see Jon bleeding out as his brothers have just stabbed him a multitude of times and Bran (Issac Hempsted Wright) is warging (I think this is the only new clip in this trailer). We then hear Brans voice.

"They have no idea what's going to happen."

Now I hear you, what does all of this mean? To me it seems as though this trailer is gearing towards Bran changing the past, after all when you tell Bran he can't do something he'll go ahead and do it anyway. In A Dance with Dragons Bran finishes his quest and meets Blood Raven. When he is beneath the weirwood he sees glimpses of the past and Bloodraven explains to Bran that these are merely visions which we learn from, and that no Greenseer is strong enough to communicate with these visions.

Now it's been theorised that Bran is powerful enough to do this, he could also be the reason that Theon saved Jayne Poole in the book. There is also the question of Theon's chapter in Winds of Winter, where one of the crows chants his name while the other chants the tree. This could be anything as some crows can speak, but Bloodraven did use Crows to communicate to Bran in his dreams.

So what's to say that Bran can't change the past? Well the first time he uses the Weirwood paste he sees his father, he tries to talk to him but to Ned it is just a whisper on the wind, so if he cannot communicate with Ned then he cannot change the past.

                                                                              [Game of Thrones/HBO]

It justs seems to me that this trailer is trying to tell me something, other than the obvious. Maybe I'm wrong and Bran will become more powerful and be able to change the past to save the future, he may have been communicating with Theon after all. I understand that Bran is very powerful, and I feel that he could be the key to the entire series. But I just don't think he will change the past, I think he will change the future.

My big question though is why does Ice appear in this trailer twice? It could be both the swords which were made from Ice but in the picture it looks like a Greatsword. Maybe reforging Ice is the key to all this? I doubt it, but how good would it be if Ice was lightbringer? No? I think I'll get the tinfoil out for that theory.

So what do you think? Am I wrong and can Bran change the past? Can he save Jon and the others which we have seen slain in this teaser? Or do you agree with me and feel that Bran will change the future? Do you find it weird that the sword appeared twice? Comment below.

Game of Thrones - The Hall of Faces Trailer and Theories!

I've been watching out for this trailer for the past week and was pretty excited to see some footage from the new season. Instead we got to see the faces of characters, some of whom are long lost, and others who have yet to leave us. SPOILER WARNING for those who haven't caught up with season five. The trailer takes place in the Hall of Faces, which is inside the House of Black and White in Braavos. The hall looks great, creepy but great. We can hear some whispers which are too quiet for me to make out. Then Ned's (Sean Bean) face appears on screen, we then hear him say a line from the show's first ever episode called Winter is Coming.    "The Man who passes the sentence should swing the sword." The screen then fades to black and we then see a clip of some more rows of heads. We then hear even more whispers and which I think sounds like some drops of waters. We then hear the voice of Robb Stark (Richard Madden) who we hear give a quote from seaso...

Lion Rampant

So for those of you who haven't heard about this project it was leaked during the Sony hack. This as a potential sequel to Braveheart called Lion Rampant, after the flag I have shown above. Really it should be called Braveheart as Robert the Bruce was called the Brave Heart and his heart was taken into battle after his death. Depicting Robert the Bruce's story and the Battle of Bannockburn (24th June 1314) in Scotlands first war for independance where King Edward II was beaten in battle by a small force lead by Robert the Bruce. Robert the Bruce in Braveheart was shown as a traitor and I am hoping that this upcoming movie would mean that he will hopefully get the makeover he so rightly deserves. Although he did pay homage to Edward I, The Bruce really secretly supported Wallace (later publicly supporting him) and he did not betray Wallace, that was Sir John Menteith. This could easily turn into a what's wrong with Braveheart post so I will state that they did get the...

I dropped the ball!

........ Image courtesy of paradigmalibu These last few months I've felt as if I have dropped the proverbial ball, my mind has been witness to a stand off between Mental health disorders and things from my past I'd rather not constantly have to relive. It's buried itself into my soul while operating my mindless drone of a body, I've relived every conversation I ever had; thought of Friends long gone as I struggle to open up about my disability. I don't even like calling it that as it feels disrespectful to people like my parents; who's struggle and sheer joy of receiving two disabled free babies has been with me my entire life. But I am not OK - I feel like I have to admit that to the world. A miscarriage has taken me back mentally to a place I've not been for a very long time, and I'm petrified t...
