Game of Thrones Season 6 Trailer

The season 6 trailer of Game of Thrones dropped last night and it had a bit of everything, from revenge to despair and beyond. This is the first time we go beyond the books and I don't know about you but I'm nervous. SPOILERS for those who are not caught up with the show.

The trailer begins with a shot of the wall and Castle Black, the camera pans down and we see Jon (Kit Harington) where we left him, dead in the snow. A voice says, "He's gone," as the camera continues to zoom to a dead Jon. We then see a clip of a Dornish Ship arriving at King's Landing, this must be Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) returning with the body of Myrcella (Nell Tiger Free). We then see a clip of Jaime and Cersei (Lena Headey), they seem to be comforting each other, he tells her the following line.

"We are the only ones that matter, and everything they have taken from us, we are going to take back and more."

We then see a clip of Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham) in a blackish cloak in the snow, as he looks at some logs, could these be for a certain funeral pyre? Roose Bolton (Michael McElhatton) seems to be giving Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) some interesting news. We then see a flayed man burning with an army in the distance (I can't tell who's army this is). Melisandre (Carice van Houten) is talking to Davos and tells him the following line.

"The Great Victory I saw in the flames, all of it was a lie."

Ser Jorah (Iain Glen) and Daario (Michiel Huisman) are on the hunt for Dany and Jorah has found her ring (could that be Greyscale on his middle fingernail?). Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) seems to be making her way to what I can only presume is Vaes Dothrak with the Dothraki, the camera pans out and we can see her in the middle of the khalasar as the Great Stallion looks down at her. The High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) appears to be talking to a member of the Kingsguard, he says the following line.

"Everyone of us is poor and powerless. Yet, we can overthrow an empire."

We then see a clip of a gathering on the Iron Islands, House Greyjoy is flying their banners, this could possibly mean a book storyline is coming to pass. We then see a clip of Sansa (Sophie Turner), I've no idea where she is but she is wearing some wolfskin, could she get Winterfell back? We see Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) at the bottom of some stairs as Lord Varys (Conleth Hill) watches, I wonder if he could be visiting some dragons or maybe he could just be sneaking about with a torch in the darkness, he says the following line.

"You're in the great game now, and the great game is terrifying."

Drogon then appears as the music halts and the screen goes black. Lancel (Eugene Simon) tells Cersei to order her man, Ser Robert Strong/Zombie Mountain (Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson) to "step aside or there will be violence." the camera then cuts to Cersei who responds to Lancel with, "I choose violence." What looks like Stark bannermen then draw their swords and brothers of the night's watch seem to be trying to bash in a door with an axe.

Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman) is walking out the throne room surrounded by the Kingsguard and then we see a clip of Cersei walking into the same room with Ser Robert Strong/Zombie Mountain and Qyburn (Anton Lesser). Horse's seem to be charging into battle, ships are heading into a storm, Arya (Maisie Williams) is being beaten up by the Waif (Faye Marsay) and her eyes look normal in this scene, maybe it's a trick of the light.

Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) is standing in the snow, Margaery (Natalie Dormer) is still in her cell, a hooded man in black takes out (what looks like) a wilding with a fireball. Bolton soldiers aim their bows, and an explosion goes off in someone's room in King's Landing. Theon (Alfie Allen) seems to have a run in with a Bolton soldier and his dogs, Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbaek) is being baptised by the Drowned God.

Cersei has an intimate moment with Jaime as Brienne takes down a Bolton soldier (possibly saving Theon and Sansa). Melisandre touches the flames and we see a shot of the Hall of Many Faces. Melisandre is stripping again, someone puts his hand on the dead Jon's head, and we see a character jumping over a wall in either Meereen or King's Landing.

Bolton and Stark soldiers square off, Yara (Gemma Whelan) kisses a woman on her lap, as Euron is on a rope bridge in the rain, he starts to remove his hood. Stark soldiers are squaring off against Targaryen soldier, I'm 100% certain that this clip is a flashback. Tormund (Kristofer Hivju) looks a bit too close to some Bolton soldiers and he seems to have someone on his back, and we have another clip of the fight to come.

Margaery and the High Sparrow take hands, children seem to be hitting someone, Arya looks up with her blind eyes at the camera. The city watch has surrounded the Great Sept of Baelor in King's Landing, Sansa is running through the woods, The Dothraki are on the attack, men are attacking and Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) is looking horrified as the Night's King stands behind him.

We then hear Davos, he reaches for Jon's sword Longclaw, he is in a room with members of the nights watch, Jon's body and Ghost. He says the following.

"I've never been much of a fighter, apologies for what you're about to see."

My Thoughts on the Trailer

I really enjoyed it, I have no idea what's going to happen and even though that scares me I think this show is in some capable hands. I would like to get to the fighting back part of the story were all those Stark killers start getting their comeuppance, but I understand that revenge may not always be the best way. I am interested to see where Bran end's up this season, I'd like to see Arya actually leave the House of Black and White and go back to Westeros. I would like Meereen to be done with, but I understand that these things take time. I think the trailer gave us enough without spoiling the plot too much. I'm looking forward to seeing some crazy things go down. Let's hope someone shall be brought back from the dead, oh in fact let's hope it happens to a few people. You know who I'm talking about you book people you.

Agents of Shield - Purpose in the Machine

So yeah I just finished watching Agents of Shield episode two. I was going to leave it until tomorrow morning but I found myself wanting to write about it.  I really enjoyed this episode guys and I am going to tell you why. SPOILERS ARE COMING! Now let's talk about Ward (Brett Dalton), I love hydra Ward best. If Grant has an evil purpose he is better for it, he might not have the girl, but he has a team. Ward is going to cleanse Hydra of all its money lovers. He will form Hydra 2.0, only in it for the destruction. Now that's the Ward we can all get behind, he might be the bad guy, but he's our bad guy. So the episode starts in 18th century England inside a creepy mansion with men in powdered wigs and such. They are technically drawing straws but with stones, the white stone goes in the Portal. He will be missed but they throw out a hydra-esque quib about how they have to sacrifice to learn, wait no one actually comes back. Oh no Simmons! We cut back to present day a...

Game of Thrones - Who Else Could Return From The Dead?

Spoilers ahead for episode seven of this sixth season, The Broken Man.  Last week I was so relieved to finally see the Gravedigger Theory  confirmed, us book fans had an idea that we hadn't quite seen the last of that loveable Hound, Sandor Clegane (Rory McCann), and it was nice to see him appear lugging a tree. Now we are faced with wondering who else could potentially rise from the dead before this sixth season is over. Stannis the Mannis Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) was apparently killed by Brienne at the end of last season, but the shot cut away before we saw his head being chopped off. If watching the show or reading the books has taught us anything it is to not believe someone is dead until we actually see it happen with our own two eyes. The Hound was in a similar position, we all thought he would die from bleeding out in the middle of nowhere but he had help in the form of Brother Ray (Ian McShane), who had stumbled upon him and saved him from dea...

Daredevil Season 2 Trailer

SPOILERS, as always for those who haven't watched season one.  So everyone's favorite Blind(ish) Superhero is back in a new trailer. Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is feeling guilty, maybe for the death of Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall) last season, maybe for something completely different. Father Lantom (Peter McRobbie) tells Matt that guilt can be a good, although Karen (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy (Elden Henson) also look plenty guilty in this teaser trailer. We then see a bunch of clips including Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) in her nurse scrubs, and Elektra (Elodie Yung) getting her mask on, all while hearing a voice over from Father Lantom who indicates that it may be because Matt's work as Daredevil is not yet finished. We then see Karen Page holding a Punisher skull on a x-ray and looking pretty freaked out by it. Then comes what I am most looking forward to, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) is here, in a hospital (watch out Claire) and looking pretty bad ass if I do...
