Batman V Superman Review

I have sat and thought about this movie since seeing it on Saturday, I've slept it on, I've tried researching more into it, but nothing I do seems to make me feel better about this movie. I went into this movie a DC fan, frustrated that the only good movies to come out of this studio in the past ten years are movies about Batman. Before the hate descends upon me, I'd like to make it clear that I love Batman, everything from his great gadgets to his awesome detective skills, my frustration has been from the lack of other great DC heroes on the big screen. I'm sure some of you out there think Man of Steel is a great movie, but I can't bring myself to love a darker Superman, maybe it's because I think Superman should represent the best of us all, but that's another argument for another day.  Before going into see the movie I accepted that Superman was going to be dark, Batman was going to be killing a bunch of people, and Wonder Woman was going to j...

This Week's Trailers

This week has been filled with a lot of big trailers, X-Men: Apocalypse had it's second trailer, we had our first look at Sausage Party (do not type that into google kids, you have no idea what I had to look through), and we also had a first look at Ben-Hur. Below I will give a quick recap of the trailer as well as my thought's on each one. Storks Storks is an upcoming animated movie which follows a young boy on his quest for a brother, his parents don't seem too keen on the idea so he writes a letter to the Storks asking for a baby brother. There is a problem though, the storks are moving away from the baby delivery service to a package delivery one. When this delivery appears a stork named Junior (Andy Samberg) must drop everything and deliver that baby. Kelsey Grammer and Keegan-Michael Key have also been confirmed to voice roles in this movie. My thoughts on this trailer are mostly that it looks like something you can take the kids too, although be warned, ...

Daredevil Recap

Hopefully by now most of you will be sitting down to watch the second season of Daredevil, I on the other hand have to wait on a certain person getting home from his job before I can start watching. So in order to fill my time and maybe fill in some of the blanks you have, I decided to do a recap of season one. A season one SPOILER WARNING is in affect so if you haven't watched it then please do go back and take a look at it. In April 10th 2015 we got something spectacular, most of us didn't want to see Daredevil on any screen thanks to that movie we got back in 2003. I myself was talked into watching the series but I went into it on a clean slate and had zero expectations. Boy was I wrong. Episode 1: Into the Ring In a flashback we see a young Matt Murdock (Skylar Gaertner) saving a man from a car accident, it all goes south though when a batch of chemicals spill and they blind him. In present day Murdock (Charlie Cox), wears a black mask and is fighting four guy...

Game of Thrones Season 6 Trailer

The season 6 trailer of Game of Thrones dropped last night and it had a bit of everything, from revenge to despair and beyond. This is the first time we go beyond the books and I don't know about you but I'm nervous. SPOILERS for those who are not caught up with the show. The trailer begins with a shot of the wall and Castle Black, the camera pans down and we see Jon (Kit Harington) where we left him, dead in the snow. A voice says, " He's gone," as the camera continues to zoom to a dead Jon. We then see a clip of a Dornish Ship arriving at King's Landing, this must be Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) returning with the body of Myrcella (Nell Tiger Free). We then see a clip of Jaime and Cersei (Lena Headey), they seem to be comforting each other, he tells her the following line. "We are the only ones that matter, and everything they have taken from us, we are going to take back and more." We then see a clip of Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham) in...

Ghostbusters Trailer!

It's been over Thirty Years since the original Ghostbusters took to the streets of New York to face the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and it's back with a reboot/remake (I am confused by this but only because this project has been rather secretive). The new shiny trailer dropped today and it will hopefully answer some of my pending questions, or it won't, let us see shall we? The trailer begun with some shots of New York City and it reminds us that 30 years ago, four scientists saved New York. We then see a shot of the Firehouse from the first two movies, and some Ghostbusters graffiti in a subway tunnel. If the Ghostbusters weren't already a thing thirty years prior to this movie then why would this graffiti exist? Or maybe I'm just reading too much into this and it's actually from later in the movie. We are told that a "New Team will answer the call," and then we get our first scene with the new cast. Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon) is m...
